PROFESSIONAL CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Summit View Clinic is a physician owned primary care organization which has provided medical care for generations of families in the Puyallup area for over 50 years.  The Clinic is highly respected for our competency as well as for compassionate care.  We value long term relationships both with our patients and our colleagues.  Our desire is to add additional practitioners who share this perspective and who want to participate in leading the Clinic in providing care to our community throughout the current and future changes in the health care delivery system.  Our skilled staff includes our Administrator,  Nursing Director / Patient care coordinator,  Clinical Informatics director,  a Registered Dietitian/Certified Diabetes Educator, Medical Records staff,  billing and coding department, and IT  support manager. We have attested for Meaningful Use for 3 years and are nearing certification as a Patient Centered Medical Home.

OUR COMMUNITY

Puyallup, Washington is a rapidly growing community in the scenic foothills of Mt. Rainier.  The quality of life here is excellent!  There are endless opportunities for recreation nearby including  mountains, lakes and seacoast.  Puyallup has excellent schools and is a great place to raise a family.  The nearby cities of Tacoma and Seattle have rich cultural and educational possibilities.

PHYSICIAN

Summit View Clinic is seeking physicians who prefer to practice  in a more personalized alternative to employment by a large healthcare organization. Our desire is to add physicians with leadership ability who enjoy interacting with patients and coworkers while providing excellent medical care.     We enjoy the collegial spirit of our practice where we share clinical information and also participate in practice management decisions.  The practice is entirely outpatient based in a single location, without obstetrics or inpatient hospital responsibilities.  We have agreements with hospitalist groups at the two local hospital organizations, so our patients have excellent options for inpatient care.   All of us value our personal and family time, so we  structure our practice to allow for those pursuits.
