Our Goals:
The mission of Summit View Clinic is to provide patient focused, high quality, cost effective healthcare, in an environment which promotes patient and employee satisfaction and loyalty. We strive to maintain the critical balance in family medicine between professional competence, service, our families, our avocations and our hobbies. We are a dedicated, highly collegial, service-oriented, independent family practice group located in Puyallup, Washington. We are seeking to add a family physician, board-certified, board-eligible, to our current seven MD, two PA group. We prefer a physician interested in full-time employment sharing in call with the availability of an instant practice and the opportunity of full partnership in one-to three-years.
Our Practice:
We are a seven practice MD group in a suburban practice. Our ages are 35 to 60. Our physicians have between 3 to 30 years of primary care experience at our current location. We are all board-certified. Our building is a modern, efficient, 9000 square foot facility. We are a progressive quality-oriented practice with electronic medical records (Practice Partner) for 6 years, a full service laboratory, registered dietician/certified diabetes educator, treadmill, colposcopy and DEXA services, a full-time family counselor and full independent physical therapy and occupational therapy unit. Our building has two minor surgical suites as well. We utilize hospitalists for our adult inpatient care (either in Puyallup at Good Samaritan Hospital or at Tacoma’s two major hospitals: Multicare Medical Center or St. Joseph Medical Center. We offer a full range of family practice excluding obstetrics. We care for newborns. We are 99% office based. Call is simple, straight-forward and non-stressful, 1 in 7 nights. Our patient demographics are all ages with limited Medicare and no capitation.
Financial:
We offer a very competitive and generous benefits package including first year salary guarantee with bonus based on production, full medical and malpractice coverage, three weeks vacation and one week CME during the first year with a funding pool for personal CME. We are able to help with relocation expenses. There is the opportunity to buy into our corporation/LLC within 18 to 24 months of joining our practice.
Location:
We are located conveniently on the border between Tacoma and Puyallup giving our patients access to two regional medical centers plus Good Samaritan Community Hospital in Puyallup. The City of Puyallup is a great place to raise a family with reputable schools (The Puyallup School District). We are centrally located in the Puget Sound area at the gateway to Mt. Rainier, 35 miles south of Seattle, 10 miles west of Tacoma, between Mt. Rainier and the Pacific Ocean. We are 45 minutes to the cultural opportunities of downtown Seattle, 1.5 hours to skiing at Crystal Mountain, 30 minutes to water activities on Puget Sound, and 30 minutes to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. We have a wonderful temperate climate year-round, which lends itself to numerous outdoor activities including fishing, biking, or walking on our extensive network of walking trails in the area.
